Mist

These days, every morning, at my kitchen’s window, I am greeted by these dancing figures of mist. This morning, there was frost on the ground and last night’s northern lights were breathtaking. Autumn is the most magical time of the year for me. We got soaked going to the lake shore but it was worth it. Mist is pretty rare since the wind is more or less always blowing.

oh. thank you so much for alerting me to this beautiful post, dear Kundry. Such a lovely sight to come home to. We’ve had a few mornings of mist here too. I love it as i can pretend that i am on the edge of the world or that it is actually the sea. The autumn colours look stunning with the greens. as usual i keep confusing the beginning of spring here with autumn in a bid to stave off the summer. i hope it won’t be too much longer til we get to visit. love and hugs to you, jo xxx

Thank you, Jo! I love finding your comments here! Imagining what lies beyond the mist or fog is one of my favourite games, I can travel instantly. It will be great to welcome you here again! Hugs
