Welcome to my Inner World. I am a French self-taught artist, and these past twenty years I have made Norway my home. Moving to the Lofoten islands was the greatest present I ever made to myself and the Arctic landscapes are indeed a true treat for any artist’s eyes. I live with my British soulmate,… Continue Reading

Trickster

Traduction Française ici
I love tricksters in any form! I’m especially fascinated by Fox, Raven and Loki whom I kind of represented here in his “bug” form (the little bugger). I may be naive but I think they all mean well. They’re divine after all, how could they get it wrong? Trickster sees the whole picture and therefore is the wisest of all. A trickster’s heart is something of a mystery. It’s not all pink and fluffy (the one on the picture is mine, notice the patch), it can also be full of anger and sadness. But passion and ecstasy as well, and when no one sees… mystery. I believe wholeheartedly in Trickster, and I think Trickster believes in me too. He might raise his eyes and sigh repeatedly but he knows I’m trying.

Garden of Delights

Traduction Française ici
Green and turquoise aren’t colors I’ve been using a lot until now. I really enjoyed working with these cool colors and spent a wonderful time bathing in the waterfall, listening to the faerie music, getting to know these serene people enjoying the garden of delights. And they are all wise in their own particuliar way. I will certainly go back to this garden, so much to explore still.

New Theme

Traduction Française ici
Ok, I’m sorry, guys, but I will have to change the theme of this blog because it has become obsolete, it’s not supported anylonger, which really sucks because I liked it big time and it’s not a free theme. Everything becomes outdated very quickly nowadays and upgrades don’t come cheap. What a strange world…
Anyway, I’m going hunting for a new theme, it might look a bit messy in the coming days.

Felted Dragon

Traduction Française ici
It’s mostly wet felted without soap. I used the needle to mess up the fibers a bit, finished by rubbing with wet fingers (without soap) and plastic film, and touched up here and there with the needle. I like the finished aspect. I think he’s young, he looks very innocent. I will feel sad to see him go if I manage to sell him on Etsy. I hope he’ll find a nice home.
