Welcome to my Inner World. I am a French self-taught artist, and these past seventeen years I have made Norway my home. Moving to the Lofoten islands was the greatest present I ever made to myself and the Arctic landscapes are indeed a true treat for any artist’s eyes. Pirates and clowns

I dreamt of Barbossa :-). I was part of his crew and we were running towards a new knight, Galahad, Graal bearer but truly more of a christian sun-god. It’s not certain we wanted to slain him, perhaps just enroll him. However I could see Barbossa’s death in slow motion. He died from a heart attack, with such a dignity. He knew it would happen because you see, he had this dream prior to the fight. He told me about the doppelganger, omen of death, who appears not on this plane as believed, but in dreams. I was brought back in this era, and Barbossa was back (he always comes back). Gone were the hat and the sword. He was a clown and a very funny one.

In the Woods

Stand Still

Lost

Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you
Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here,
And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,
Must ask permission to know it and be known.
The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,
I have made this place around you,
If you leave it you may come back again, saying Here.
No two trees are the same to Raven.
No two branches are the same to Wren.
If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,
You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows
Where you are. You must let it find you.

A few photos taken today from Stamsund to Storfjord. The great news is that dogs are now allowed in the bus, under the condition that none of the passengers is allergic to dogs, so I’m now free to travel with Loki to some places I haven’t visited for a long while. Looking forward to going on some new adventures with my dear companion.
