They look like they could tackle whatever comes their way, as long as they stay together. They remind me of the Musicians of Bremen. But they are not my creation, I just glazed them. The clay work is by a friend of mine. I love the primitive look, it’s magical. I painted them with glazes… but mostly love.

I finally finished the apron dress for my Viking costume and I’m pleased that it didn’t turn into a disaster (it’s far from perfect though). There is still the under dress to weave, only one length is finished (the grey fabric under the orange dress) and I need two more.
I tried to keep it sober. But this is more my style:
I’ll use it for a sweater. I used Malabrigo yarn and some beautiful hand spun yarn, a sumptuous present from a friend.
It’s Lucy’s colour too.
I’ve been wanting to dye yarn for some time now. I tried today on a sample and I am very, very pleased with the result. It won’t be cheaper than buying pre-dyed yarn, but it will be quite unique.
Beautiful, isn’t it? I am hooked…
I’m disappointed by this felted moss garden. Maybe I shouldn’t felt at summertime when there’s so little time to create. My patience with felting is already limited to start with.
