The most beautiful yarns I have in my home are a precious gift from my friend, Libellune . She spun all these gorgeous yarns herself and I am so in awe that I want to use them for something very special, I must give it some serious thought so that I’m not wasting any. It won’t be used for a dog blanket, I can assure you.
Finished the scarf for my dad and I am pleased, It looks textured like rock and lichen, and the hints of antic gold here and there are a nice touch. It’s also soft and warm. Behind, on the loom, is my new project for a Viking dress.
My collection of grey yarns for my next project: a scarf for my dad. No glitter for him! It will be nice, warm and rustic grey.
A bit too sober for my taste but I wanted to weave something a bit authentic for my Viking costume. This will be used for a mantle. As usual, it is really nice and soft.
