Fairy Garden

If you shy away from the human world and its impossible demands for perfection, a fairy garden is a very good place to find shelter. Shrink your angle to just a tiny sanctuary among the moss and the lichen and stay there. As long as you want. As long as it is necessary. When you look up again, and  be a “grown up”, you will realise you’re safe. It doesn’t always have to be the way we think it should be. We condition ourselves all the time to see problems bigger than they actually are. But… it doesn’t have to be THAT WAY. You are not your problems. In the end, only you decide what you want to be. It’s all up to you.

    Kundry,
Unlurking for a moment to let you know that whenever you post, showing your world, I want to ask you if you’d consider adopting me. Today I just do it. LOL Seriously, thank you for all the beauty you keep showing here. I moved back to the city after a stroke, definitely a different kind of beauty. ;)

Oh, I’m so sorry to read about your stroke, Ursula. Yes, there is beauty too in cities, and I hope that you can escape to the countryside when you miss it. Of course, I’ll totally adopt you, he, he! Take care and thank you!

Oh it’s been 3 years and 3 months since the stroke, so it’s been a while. I got back a lot, but also live with a handful of permanent residuals (spasticity, hemiparesis, constant dizziness). Anyway, thank you for the adoption, woo hoo! ggg

That must have been a very scary experience. I wish you a quick and total recovery, Ursula. Following your blog now…
