This time, I wanted to see if the patterns painted with underglazes would show up under the semi-transparent Opalescent glaze and it did to some extent, but not quite enough. I left unglazed some of the figures on the tile and this, I like very much.Next time, I’ll try to leave more parts unglazed, the trick is to know which ones and in which proportions. I kind of like the powdery aspect of the underglazes.

My favourite old camera is now out of order, any battery I put inside just last ten minuts. I’ll have to use from now on my very disappointing Canon 60D, shame, shame, shame. Ideally, I’d like to buy a new Canon S3IS but it’s not going to happen before a while.
I made a few corrections to my recent glazed items with some oils and I’m ok with the results. Just ok. I need to experiment again and again.
I’m not sure I like glossy glazes on my bas reliefs, I think it’d work better with some matte glazes but unfortunately, most commercial matte glazes don’t inspire me. I think I know now more or less in which direction I want to go. My head is brimming with new ideas.
