The Goblins’ Gate

If you knock on the rock, maybe they’ll let you in.

Nice weather seems to occur only on my working days. Today was pretty stormy so I took the girls to the other side of the mountain but there too, it was quite chilly. It was beautiful though. I was glad to see the colors of the rock (all these shades of grey) and the green moss. The girls didn’t seem to mind the weather. I stopped on the way back to take a picture but I couldn’t open the door of the car, the wind wouldn’t let me. Now I’m “hygging” at home with a nice cup of green tea with lemon and juniper.

A Goblin in the Making

A goblin chilling on my altar. The armature is made of wire and the body is needle felted (this is for me the longest and most boring part). The head is made of sanded paper clay. I painted the face with my favourite oils, Cobra (which you can dilute with water only and they dry pretty fast). His eyes are made of glass and of course, the hair will be added once he’s all dressed up.
