This is the sacred pond by the witch’s house. “They say that a great sorceress lives in these woods” ;-). The house is alive with all sorts of beings partially hidden in the foliage. Magic is in the air, especially since it’s close to Samhain (Halloween). The witch’s not home, but she posted a sentry, a beautiful Gorgon’s face. I’m sure she’ll come back though the Elvish gate in the distance.
Autumn is my favorite season. I get overwhelmed, entranced by all these vibrant colors, the smells, the lights of the lanterns, the blue hour and the mad, deep and strong magic bathing everything.

L’étang sacré de la maison de la sorcière. “On raconte qu’une grande ensorceleuse vit dans ces bois” ;-). La maison est animée par toutes sortes d’êtres partiellement cachés dans les feuillages. La magie est dans l’air, d’autant plus qu’on est à l’approche de Samhain (Halloween). La sorciere n’est pas à la maison, mais elle a posté une sentinelle, un beau visage de Gorgone. Je suis sûre qu’elle reviendra par le portail elfique un peu plus loin.
L’automne est ma saison préférée. Toutes ces couleurs vibrantes, ces parfums, les lumières des lanternes, l’heure bleue et la folle et puissante magie qui baigne tout me bouleversent, me transportent.
