This is the first step of a huge project that has been growing in me for a long time. A very long time. I love oracles. Of course, I love them. I’m in love with images. I use them occasionally, when I feel really stuck in one way of thinking and it doesn’t lead me anywhere. Then I ask… the Oracle. Just to find a different answer, a different angle. Or sometimes a confirmation of what has been brooding in me that I couldn’t put into words. I never use the oracle to “predict” anything, I don’t believe in this, and I find this far too depressing.
My Oracle is pretty complicated. There is a board with all the little “satellites” where you can place your (round) cards (after having drawn them). All these “satellites” are connected to a certain theme, be it “inspiration” or “challenge”, or something else. There are 18 of them. I plan on making 60 little round cards. But there’s also another step before drawing each of the main 10 cards. A meditation part which I will provide in a form of a collage to complete. But more on that later.
