I’m having a cosy day at home with Lucy and Pixie, while outside the rain’s falling continuously. I’ve finished my second painted cutout. It’s a topic which is dear to me: the island. It’s also a sanctuary, a place where you can truly be yourself, a cocoon, a chrysalis..You can of course get visitors but in the end, you are alone and … you are enough. Precious solitude in your own microcosms, entertained by your own inhabited depths. All is well.
