This is unfortunately the end of my bridge camera, Canon S3IS, a model which has lasted me nearly 20 years. It was not super sharp but it was very good at capturing the magical vibes. My reflex camera Canon 60D lacks personality and is also too heavy, so while still using it, particularly for northern lights, I’ve chosen a new camera which I will receive very soon. This picture above sums up all the delightful surprises that this long-time digital companion brought me.

Meanwhile, I took a few photos during my recent walk in the woods with the big camera.

You can never have too many hats! I haven’t knitted them, I doubt I would ever have the skill but I am still knitting a snood at the moment.
