I dreamed I was standing alone on a vast tropical beach … with a surfing board. Although the sea was quiet and I had never tried surfing before, I went into the water with my board, swam on it a bit and then attempted to get into a kind of upright position. I crouched on it and started sailing. I don’t know whether the board moved according to my will or the sea’s will or even better our concerted wills but sail, I did. It was exhilarating. Back on the ground I ended up at my parents place. In front of the house, my things were drying. But there were also three sharks who were quite alive and kicking in spite of the lack of water. And they were coming at me. Horrified and not knowing how to defend myself, I gripped one of them and threw it against the others. The sharks were a bit taken aback and then started to chuckle. Sharks’ humour, you know… ;-).

Rêvé que je me tenais seule sur une plage vaste et tropicale… avec une planche de surf. Bien que la mer ait été calme et que je n’aie jamais essayé de surfer avant, j’entrai dans l’eau avec ma planche, me mis à nager allongée dessus et puis essayai de me tenir debout, ou presque. Je m’agenouillai et commençai de naviguer. Je ne sais si la planche se déplaçait sous la poussée de ma volonté ou celle de la mer, ou mieux encore, des deux combinées et concertées, mais je naviguai en tout cas. C’était génial. De retour au sol, j’arrivai à la maison de mes parents. Devant la maison, mes affaires étaient en train de sécher. Mais il y avait aussi trois requins qui étaient bien vivants malgré le manque d’eau. Et ils fonçaient sur moi. Horrifiée et ne sachant pas comment me défendre, j’agrippai l’un d’eux et le lançai contre les deux autres. Les trois requins étaient assez étonnés de ma réaction, et puis ils se mirent à glousser. L’humour de requins, mmmh ;-).
