Those colours are so beautiful: I love the burnt oranges in the first few pictures & the deep blues are fabulous. These scenes remind me so much of when I stayed in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland in the wintertime—I’ve been thinking about those islands quite a bit lately, and even started writing about them for the first time in 15 years or so. I remember skipping stones across the ice and the sound of the water flowing in the little streamlets underneath the frozen surface. I’ve got to move back to the north again sometime next year if possible. Loki looks like he is posing for those pics.

Thank you, Reifyn! I’ve read your post about the Hebrides today, I liked very much your powerful descriptions, I think you caught the magic of this place well with your words. I’ve never been to Scotland. Not yet. But there is something very similar to Scotland here, on Lofoten. I hope you can move to the north again, it sounds like a great idea. And yes, Loki IS pausing. Every time I get my camera out, he does that. He is extremely patient, the best model ever!
