Welcome to my Inner World

I am a French self-taught artist, and these past twenty years I have made Norway my home. Moving to the Lofoten islands was the greatest present I ever made to myself and the Arctic landscapes are indeed a true treat for any artist’s eyes. I live with my British soulmate, my sweet Papillon girls, Lucy and Pixie and the spirit of my border collie, Loki. My creativity is a tribute to the eyes that blink in the heart of every smallest thing, the flowing dreams whose pulse tries to reach to us in our most meditative state.

On the whale’s back

I dreamed my companion and I wanted to travel around the world in a sailing boat, just the two of us, no crew. I was looking perplexed at all the riggings and stuff, it all looked very complicated but I had no doubt we would eventually manage. As a kind of training, we entered into the water and there was

A Totally Random Post Popping Out From Nowhere:

  • From the Fabric to the Clothes
This is all mostly hand-spun yarns, except for the shawl for which I used brushed alpaca. The shawl is truly amazing, it's like a warm cloud, it's huge, I can wrap it twice around me. Needless to say, it's a "hygge" shawl.  No, it's actually THE "hygge" shawl. So, with my hand woven fabrics made of hand-spun yarns, I made a sleeveless vest and a pullover, and I am very pleased. It was worth all the trouble, the months I've spent on this (dyeing fibers, carding, spinning, weaving, sewing). And the clothes:
