I fired at last a few little things before leaving for France in a couple of days. Gosh, I miss working with ceramic, but my time is devoted to a new painting at the moment and each painting takes a huge amount of my time. But that’s allright, because painting is after all my favourite medium. I wish days were longer, to accommodate all my passions. I’ve also been very busy with studying for my driving license – the theory part . I disliked so much the subject and the way the questions in the tests format you to a certain way of thinking I was convinced I had very little chance of succeeding because of who I am. Well, well… I might have overdone it a bit because not only I succeeded but I also made 0 mistakes which was unheard of – until me – in this commune. It truly sounded like an elaborate gag. I’m afraid I’m now totally formatted. BUT I passed!
I can’t say I like much the bowls I make, it’s just not the same without a potter’s wheel. Here is a bowl for Lucy (although she still prefers eating from our hands):
Potter’s Choice Arctic Blue over Dark Green
And another little one for … whatever:
Potter’s Choice Oatmeal over Smokey Merlot.
And a mysterious atmosphere:
And a few photos of my hand-dyed silk, just because it’s so beautiful:
C’est super ! J’adore le premier bol, quelle couleur <3
Merci, chère toi! Je voudrais en refaire un avec un autre émail pour qu’on voit mieux les détails de mes petits reliefs qui représentent en fait une carte de l’Autre Monde (façon tambour chamanique)
