Welcome

Welcome to my Inner World. I am a French self-taught artist, and these past seventeen years I have made Norway my home. Moving to the Lofoten islands was the greatest present I ever made to myself and the Arctic landscapes are indeed a true treat for any artist’s eyes. My Digital Art

A Spinning Wheel

A spinning wheel is on its way. It’s a modern one, not the fairy tale kind, but it’s really good to make art yarns (fantasy yarn) and what attracted me was also the possibility to paint it. The wheel itself is flat, it doesn’t have any spoke. Today I’ve been drafting a mandala for my wheel. It’d be nice to see it turn. I will paint it with oils and add a bit of glitter which will sparkle when turning.

This is just a quick draft of what I plan to do:

Two Companions on an Adventure

They look like they could tackle whatever comes their way, as long as they stay together. They remind me of the Musicians of Bremen. But they are not my creation, I just glazed them. The clay work is by a friend of mine. I love the primitive look, it’s magical. I painted them with glazes… but mostly love.

Info about the glazes: click the thumbnails.

Little by Little

I finally finished the apron dress for my Viking costume and I’m pleased that it didn’t turn into a disaster (it’s far from perfect though). There is still the under dress to weave, only one length is finished (the grey fabric under the orange dress) and I need two more.

I tried to keep it sober. But this is more my style:

I’ll use it for a sweater. I used Malabrigo yarn and some beautiful hand spun yarn, a sumptuous present from a friend.

It’s Lucy’s colour too.
