Welcome to my Inner World

I am a French self-taught artist, and these past twenty years I have made Norway my home. Moving to the Lofoten islands was the greatest present I ever made to myself and the Arctic landscapes are indeed a true treat for any artist’s eyes. I live with my British soulmate, my sweet Papillon girls, Lucy and Pixie and the spirit of my border collie, Loki. My creativity is a tribute to the eyes that blink in the heart of every smallest thing, the flowing dreams whose pulse tries to reach to us in our most meditative state.

A Totally Random Post Popping Out From Nowhere:

  • Experiments in felting
I've been working with different techniques this afternoon in order to restore my faith in felt. For the first experiment, I needle felted and then wet felted with soap, and finally added more fibers with a needle. For the second experiment, I just spread some fibers on top of some fusible paper and ironed. Then after, I added fibers with a needle. It actually felt easier because of the fusible fabric. And here is what they look like shaped like pixie's hats. The wet felted one: And the fusible paper one: The latter is a bit more fragile but I prefer it. Also, of course, it didn't take as long. I think I prefer it but I'm not sure. I'm still not satisfied. Save Save Save
